Levi Jay Eichelberger passed away unexpectedly on May 26, 2021, at the age of 6, after a tragic car accident.
Levi was born in Joliet, Illinois, on March 14, 2015, to Jonathan Keith Eichelberger and the late Sara Louise Altiery (who was also the love of Daddy’s life). Mommy succumbed to her injuries on May 27, 2021, following this same accident.
Levi was the most precious, perfect, handsome, and smart blue-eyed boy. He was going to take on the world and all the girls. He was a very active and inquisitive boy, always wanting to learn more and understand everything. He loved dirt and motor bikes, being Daddy’s mini me, hunting and fishing with Daddy and Peepa, playing with his sisters, swimming with Wheeta, being the shark after all his mermaid cousins, going to school (he was so smart), sleep overs with Wheeta and Peepa, and cuddling with Mommy and Daddy.
Our family was not expecting the loss of Levi or Sara or for their lives to be cut so short so soon. We are devastated by this loss and will feel the absence of them both forever. Levi was the sweetest, kindest, most loving boy, with the biggest heart and so much fun to be around. He and his Mommy will be forever missed.
Levi will forever be cuddled in heaven by his Mommy, Sara Louise Altiery, great great grandparents, Manuel & Santos Cavazos, great grandfather, Donald Eichelberger Sr, great Uncle Keith, and so many other family members that have gone before him.
Levi will always be loved and remembered by his Daddy, Jonathan Keith Eichelberger, his sisters, Dakota & Brooklyn, his grandparents, John Jay & Melissa Eichelberger (aka Peepa & Wheeta), his aunt & uncle, Ryan & Matt Pivonka, his cousins, Payton, Elena and Thea, his great grandparents, Manuel Cavazos, Judy Withers, JoAnn Cavazos, and Arlene Eichelberger and lots of other great aunts, great uncles, 2nd and 3rd cousins, teachers, and friends. Levi will also be loved and remembered by his Mommy’s side of the family, especially Papa Ron Garner.
Levi and Sara are loved and will be missed more than words could ever describe. Until we meet again, our sweet Levi & Sara… send us strength to carry on, watch over and protect us all the days of our lives.
