Linda Schillaci

Age 67 of Minooka, formerly of Chicago, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at her home.

Born November 7, 1953 in Chicago, Linda was a daughter of Nicholas and Lucille Lococo. She was raised and educated in Chicago, and on May 17, 1980 she married Michael Joseph Schillaci at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church in Chicago.

Linda moved to Minooka in 2004, and was a member of Families of Faith Church in Channahon. She loved spending time outdoors, especially at Woodsmoke Ranch in Seneca where she and Mike would spend many weekend and make great friends and memories. Linda was a hard worker with a big heart who took it upon herself to be a caretaker and love anyone she met. She had a way of brightening any room she walked into with her bright personality, and remembered for sharing her joy and love with all who knew her.

Survivors include her mother, Lucy Lococo of Chicago, her husband of 40 years, Mike "Spider" Schillaci, her son, Andrew Michael Schillaci of Shabbona, her grandson, Giovanni Wilson of Seattle, Washington, her sister, Anna (John) Serritos of Chicago, as well as several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law,  bunches of nieces and nephews, and dear friends: Kim, Cara, Anna, and Dori.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Nicholas, her son, Michael Joseph Schillaci, Jr., and her sister, Patricia Barcus.

Per the family's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held at Families of Faith Church, 24466 W Eames St., Channahon, Illinois, on Saturday, February 20, 2021.  Memorial visitation begins at 1:00pm with the service following at 2:00pm.
