Lois Wisneski

Age 81 of Wilmington, Illinois and formerly of Plainfield, Illinois, passed away Thursday morning, June 8, 2023.

Born June 29, 1941 in Joliet, Illinois, Lois Fern was a daughter of Howard and Euphrmia Mary (Eartly) Davis. She was raised in Plainfield and graduated from Plainfield Township High School.

Lois had a love of animals, especially horses and her dogs; she took pleasure in gardening, and was a wonderful baker. No hobby was greater than that of family, and Lois cherished her grandchildren.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Doreen Howard and step-daughter, Linda (Karl) Engel, both of Braidwood; grandchildren: Steven Howard of New London, Wisconsin, Stephanie (Kyle) Clausen of Wilmington, Brooke (Corey) Minchuk of Braidwood, Ashley (Brian) Wandless of Wilmington and Nikolas Cunitz of Braidwood; great grandchildren: Paul, Aiden, Noah, Tristan, Brayden, Charlie, Jayden and Asher; one sister, Janet (Stuart) Reiter of Florida; one niece and three nephews.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur Wisneski; son, Raymond Howard and one brother, Les Davis.

Cremation rites have been accorded, and private family services were held.

Lois will be laid to rest with her late husband Arthur in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet, Illinois.
