LORETTA CRABTREE

Age 80, formerly of Sharon, TN passed away Tuesday September 27, 2005 at Edwards Hospital in Naperville, IL.

Born April 19, 1925 in Greenfield, TN, Loretta was a daughter of the late Willie and Cora (Day) Owen. She retired from the Ovaltine Corp.

Survivors include her loving children: Carlotta (the late Michael) Marchese of Wilmington, IL, Loretta (the late Creighton) Cooper of Bartlett, IL, and Ronald Crabtree of Tennessee, formerly Bloomington, IL. Two sisters: Dorothy (Norman) Wallace of Sharon, TN and Shirley (Billy) Swindell of Greenfield, TN. Three brothers: Jimmy (the late Grace) Owen of Indiana, Billy (Pinkie) Owen of Martin, TN and Douglas Sharp of Kentucky. (8) Grandchildren, (9) Great Grandchildren and two Great-Great Grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, son Ronald Walker and sister Elaine Newell.

Visitation will be held Thursday September 29, 2005 from 4-8PM at Reeves Funeral Home in Wilmington and Saturday October 1st from 5-9PM at Gardner Funeral Home, 135 Fonville St., Sharon, TN. Funeral services will follow on Sunday October 2nd at 2PM in the First United Methodist Church, 104 Mill St., Sharon, TN 38255. Rev. Harold Stricker will officiate and burial will be in Brach Cemetery in Greenfield, TN.

Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts in Loretta's memory to the First United Methodist Church of Sharon, TN.
