Marcella Vivan (Kelly) Maly

Age 92, of Manhattan, Kansas and formerly of Braidwood, Illinois, passed away on January 28, 2026, at the Ascencion Via Christi Village in Manhattan.

She was born on September 19, 1933, in Morris, Illinois, the daughter of John and Vivian Kelly.

Survivors include her children: Debra Emery of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Karen Swyndro of Coal City, Illinois and Michelle (Thomas) Musser of Manhattan, Kansas; Grandchildren: Heidi (Wayne) Bulthuis of Coal City, Stephanie Ruberto of Fort Smith, and Matthew Musser of Manhattan; four great grandchildren; one great great-grand-daughter and her special friend, Pamela Schlodder.

Marcella was preceded in death by her parents; husband Frank; son-in-law Daniel Swyndro; granddaughter, Aimee Swyndro; great-granddaughter Alyssa Swyndro and brother, David (Ronnie) Kelly.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at the Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Manhattan, Kansas, and Marcella was privately laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery in Braidwood, Illinois along side her husband, granddaughter and great granddaughter.
