MARGARET DeGRUSH

Age 80 of Coal City, passed away Saturday evening October 29, 2005 at Morris Hospital.

Born June 24, 1925 in Coal City, Margaret was a daughter of the late Dominic and Rena Gallo. She was raised and educated in Coal City and on September 21, 1946 Margaret married Eugene "Pee Wee" DeGrush in Assumption Catholic Church in Coal City. Together Margaret and Pee Wee lived their entire married life in Coal City and operated DeGrush Brothers Poultry House for over 18 years. Margaret was a member of Assumption Catholic Church in Coal City and she loved to garden and cook.

Survivors include her husband Eugene "Pee Wee" DeGrush, grand daughter Maria (Tom Jacobs), and great granddaughter Savannah Jo all of Coal City and one sister Fernanda (Thomas) Josefik of Rural Morris, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Gloria Jean Olivo in 2004 and one brother Johnny Gallo.

Visitation will be held Tuesday November 01, 2005 between the hours of 5:00PM and 7:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Funeral Services will follow on Wednesday November 2nd at 10:00AM in the funeral home with Rev. Mike Pennock from Assumption Catholic Church in Coal City officiating.

Burial will be in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Gloria's name to the National Kidney Foundation.
