MARJORIE A. JENSEN Age 95 of Coal City, passed away Thursday September 1, 2005 at Walnut Grove Nursing Center in Morris.

Born August 01, 1910 in Dwight, Marjorie was a daughter of the late Jens Peter and Alma (Scott) Nelson. She was raised and educated in Dwight. On February 09, 1928 Marjorie married Miggo L. Jensen in Crown Point, Indiana and together they lived most of their married life in Gardner, until moving to Coal City in 1980. Marjorie was a member of New Hope Presbyterian Church in Coal City and she loved to cook, sew and read.

Survivors include her four children: Alma (Leonard) Kisellus of Deerfield, IL, Nancy (Charles) Akin of Morris and Thora (Richard) Lohmar and John (Louise) Jensen, both of Carbon Hill. Nine Grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and one sister Lorraine Nelson of Wichita, Kansas, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Miggo in 1986, one grandson, three brothers: Virgil, John and Bernard Nelson and three sisters: Sylvia Brelsford, Helen Conley and Jean Roff.

Visitation and video tribute will be held on Saturday September 03, 2005 from 9:00AM until time of funeral service 11:00AM at Reeves Funeral Home in Coal City. Rev. Jan Chandler will officiate and burial will follow in McDowell Cemetery in Dwight.

Preferred memorial as gifts in Marjorie's memory may be given to New Hope Presbyterian Church, 80 N. Garfield St., Coal City, IL 60416 or Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431.
