Marvin Trautmann

MARVIN J. TRAUTMANN

Age 73 of Wilmington and formerly Chicago, passed away Sunday March 12, 2006 at Hines VA Hospital in Maywood.

Born January 09, 1933 in Artas, SD, Marvin was a son of the late Emil and Elizabeth (Orth) Trautmann. He was employed by Stone Container Corp. of Chicago for numerous years and was a member of the Wilmington Moose Lodge.

Survivors include two sons: John (Monique) Trautmann of Hickory Hills, Illinois and Dan (Heidi) of Beaverdam, Wisconsin. (7) Grandchildren and numerous brothers and sisters.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Carol (1999), second wife Jean (2005) and one son Robert.

Visitation will be held Thursday March 16, 2006 from 9:00AM until time of funeral service 11:00AM at Reeves Funeral Home, 219 North Joliet Street (2 Blocks North of Illinois Route 53 / Baltimore Street) in Wilmington. Rev. Heidi Olsen will officiate and burial with full military honors will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made as gifts in Marvin's memory to The Illinois Veterans.

Funeral services and arrangements are under the direction of Reeves Funeral Home in Wilmington.
