Nancy Lee Scott

Age 77, of Wilmington Illinois, passed away at her home on April 27, 2026.

Born on February 7, 1949, in Paoli Indiana, Nancy was the daughter of William S. Scott and Bernice (Parks) Scott.

Nancy was born and raised in Paoli and she later attended Vincennes University. In 1985, she proudly earned her RN with a 4.0 avg. 

She was also creative and an extremely talented cook. Nancy loved her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time with her dear dog Bubba and watching the wildlife on the river.

She had a fierce soul that carved its way through this world and all of its adversities to create the best life she could. Nancy was not perfect, but she was real, and she was our mother. She will be missed dearly, but in the hope of our savior Jesus Christ we will once again be with her in heaven.

Survivors include her children: Alison (Romano) and Chuck Johnson, Aaron and Tracy Romano; Grandchildren: Emma and Evan Romano.

She will be laid to rest at Stampers Creek, in Paoli, Indiana.
