Nancy M. Sparks

Nancy M. Sparks, 82, of Belvidere, formerly of Morris, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023 at her grandson’s home in Morris with her family by her side.
Born June 12, 1941 in Lake Station, Indiana, she was the daughter of Banks and Hazel (Weineger) Ellis. She graduated from Edison High School in Lake Station, Ind. She married Ross Sparks in 1986. They lived most of their married life in Morris. For several years she was a CNA providing health services to many people.
She is survived by her children, Mary Ann (Larry) Autry of Chesterton, Ind., Bill ( Kirsten) Cotton of Kildeer, Il and Dale (Tina) Sparks of Belvidere, Il; numerous grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her loving husbands, Patrick and Ross; two sons, Tommy and Jackie; three brothers and two sisters.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Fruland Funeral Home, 121 W. Jefferson St. in Morris. Graveside services will be held at Graceland Cemetery in Valparariso, Ind. on Saturday, September 9, 2023.
