Norma Jean Miller

Norma Jean Miller, 89, of Morris, passed away Thursday April 27, 2023 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox with her family by her side.
Born August 19, 1933 in Lisbon, Ill, she was the daughter of Stanley and Vivian (O’Brien) Stinson. She graduated from Newark High School with the class of 1951. She married Lynn Miller on January 12, 1953 in Indiana and they lived all of their married life in Morris. She worked for 10 years at the Morris Paper Mill and for the last 20 years she retired from working for Betty Olson in the Grundy County Treasurer’s office.
She is survived by her loving husband, Lynn “Mike” Miller; her children, Kay Lynn (Bill, deceased) Moore of Morris and K.J. (Howie) Olson of Seneca; Michael (Marcy) Miller of Denver, CO; three grandchildren, Michael Moore, Eric (Lorin) Miller and Elayne Miller; two great grandchildren, Sadie and Emmie Miller; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; one granddaughter, Katie Moore; one great grandson, Landon Miller; one brother, Donald Stinson.
She was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Bulls and Black Hawks. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
There will be no funeral service or visitation.
