Age 75, of Morris, Illinois, formerly of Cicero, Illinois, Medina and Jackson, Tennessee, and Joliet, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at St. Anthony's Hospital in Rockford, Illinois.

Born on May 3, 1951, in Milan, Tennessee, Pamela was the beloved daughter of William "Bill" and Johnnie (Haskins) Hargrove. She was raised and educated in Cicero, where she attended Morton East High School. Later, her family moved to Tennessee, where she graduated from Medina High School with the Class of 1969.

Pamela was a dedicated and hardworking woman throughout her career. She began working as a lead baker at Jewel-Osco, where she was employed for approximately seven years. She later became a licensed cosmetologist, a profession she enjoyed for ten years, before concluding her career as a ward clerk at Hinsdale Hospital.

A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Pamela's faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was deeply involved in her church and found great joy and comfort in reading the scriptures.

Pamela had a love for horses, reading, and spending time with those she loved. She especially treasured every moment with her grandchildren, who were truly the light of her life. Pam was known for her kind heart, warm smile, and joyful spirit. Her genuine love for people and her compassionate nature touched the lives of all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Hargrove (Vladislav) Jurenka, of Morris; two grandchildren: Vladislav "Vlad" and Hailee Jurenka, both of Morris; her sister-in-law, Ann Hargrove of Lyons, Illinois; nieces and nephews: Sharri Listello, Dawn Avery, Lyn Schultz, Eric Hargrove and Sean Hargrove as well as her cousin Edward Smith and special friends: Karen Martin and Linda Dodd.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: William "Frank" Hargrove and James (Betty) Hargrove as well as a nephew, Chris Hargrove.

Per the family's wishes cremation rites have been accorded, and a memorial is being planned for a later date.
