Paul David Biros

Age 57 of Mazon, Township, died unexpectedly on Friday, May 17, 2024.

Born April 17, 1967 in Morris, Illinois, Paul is the son of Deborah (Squellati) Youskevtch and David Biros. He was raised and educated in Coal City, graduating from Coal City High School with the Class of 1985. Paul attended Grundy Area Vocational where he learned welding and went on to work in the construction trades as a roofer.

One who loved the outdoors, Paul enjoyed tending to his yard, raising chickens, farming, and fishing. A gear head at heart, he took pleasure in tinkering on his vehicles; he was an avid bike rider, and his love for music was evident in his guitar playing. Throughout the years, volunteering alongside his mother, Paul found immense satisfaction in collecting toys for local food pantries, bringing smiles to many children’s faces.

Survivors include his daughter, Haley Biros (Jake Thiede) of Eldridge, Iowa; his parents: Deborah (Michael) Yousekevtch and Dave (Sandy) Biros, both of Morris; stepsister, Michelle (Steve) Baudino of Verona and uncle, Charles Squellati of Coal City, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Paul was preceded in death by his grandparents: Angelo and Elaine Squellati and George and Clare Biros, as well as Sally Squellati.
