Paulette Evans

Age 62 of Wilmington, Illinois, formerly of Joliet, Illinois, died Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at her home.

Born December 6, 1963, Paulette was the daughter of Ronald and Sharon (Marino) Evans. She was raised in Joliet and attended Joliet East High School. Paulette worked for the Laraway Elementary School in Joliet as a lunch lady and worked in the restaurant industry. She was a waitress at Les Brothers Restaurant and a bartender at the Harry E. Anderson VFW Post 9545 in New Lenox, Illinois. Paulette loved cooking for family and friends and enjoyed watching her soap operas. She was a good hearted woman who had a soft spot for all animals, especially cats. Paulette had a great sense of humor and was always able to get you to laugh. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends who loved her most.

Survivors include her son, Billy Burns IV, her loving companion, Wayne Koesling, and her aunt, Rena Marino, all of Wilmington. Paulette was preceded in death by her parents.

Per her wishes, cremation rites are being accorded and there will be no services at this time.
