Raymond Balsman

RAYMOND B. BALSMAN (Please insert Flag Symbol is Avail) Age 61 of Wilmington and formerly Pittsfield, Illinois, passed away Saturday May 07, 2005 at Embassy Care Center in Wilmington. Born May 08, 1943 in Pittsfield, Illinois Raymond was a son of the late Raymond and Mary (Westlake) Balsman. He was a veteran of the US Army and employed by the Sunbeam Bread Company as a baker until his retirement after 20 years. Ray loved poetry, nature and the Lord. Survivors include his loving son Raymond Daniel and daughter Dala (Brant) Watson of Wilmington. Two grandsons Chase and Hunter Watson and one brother George of Pittsfield, Illinois, as well as numerous cousins. Ray was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Thursday May 12, 2005 between the hours of 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home in Wilmington. Funeral Services will follow on Friday May 13th at 10:00AM in the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Dusenberry from the First Christian Church of Wilmington officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Wilmington.
