RICHARD CHARLES BRAY "RICK"

Age 49 of Wilmington, passed away suddenly Saturday September 10, 2005.

Born August 11, 1956 in Joliet, Rick is a son of Janice Reeves Hiller of Plainfield and Richard L. (Heidi) Bray of Joliet. Rick was raised and educated in Wilmington and Plainfield and served in the US Marines after high school. He was employed as an owner/operator for L.A. Sites, Inc. in Mokena for over 7 years and was a member of the Local 150 Operating Engineers. Rick loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Rick is survived in love by his parents; daughter Rebecca of Texas; five sisters and two brothers: Debbie (Kerry) Rutten of Compton, IL, Kathy (Pat) D'Arcy of Plainfield, Cindy (Barry) Milliron of Reddick, Kevin (Amy) Bray of Cedar Park, TX, Celeste (Martin) Wadlow of Red Rock, TX, Dawn (John) Ackerman of Mukwonago, WI and J. Tom (Tracy) Hiller of De Pere, WI. Aunts and Uncles: Carol (Don) Kodrick, Barbara (Bill) McMurtry, C. James (Sandy) Reeves and Gregory Reeves and his immediate cousins: Kevin (Lynn) Kodrick, Tony (Carol) Merkel, Candace Lawrence, Tristin (Ben) Holman, Kathryn (Jeff) Henderson and Megan (Dave) VanDuyne, as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Rick was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Charles and Juanita Reeves and paternal grandparents Sam and Eva Bray, both of Wilmington and his step-father John Hiller of Plainfield.

Visitation will be Thursday September 15, 2005 from 4-8PM and Friday September 16th from 9AM until time of funeral service 10AM at Overman -Jones Funeral Home 309 Joliet Road (at the corner of Route 59 and Route 30) in Plainfield. Rev. Ray Mullins will officiate and burial will be in Plainfield Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Chad Milliron, Beau D'Arcy, Michael Rutten, Christopher Rutten, Stephen Rutten and Kevin Kodrick.
