Robert Haven

Robert L. Haven

Age 61 of Channahon and formerly Wilmington, passed away Sunday morning July 17, 2005 at his home.

Born October 27, 1943 in Chicago, Robert is a son of Jeanne and the late Lawrence Haven.

Bob was a graduate of Morgan Park Military Academy and I.I.T. where he earned a degree in Business Management. He employed by the US Veterans Administration, where he retired as an appraiser.

Bob loved reading, bicycling, racquetball and all sports, as well as his family.

Survivors include his children: Cindy (David) Poole of Channahon and Robby Haven of Waukegan, Illinois. Three granddaughters: Brittany and Alyssa Poole and Andy Haven. His mother Jeanne Haven of Wilmington; sister Carol (Bob) Bialecki of Chicago; one niece Linda (Ken) Just of Deerfield, Illinois; one nephew Jim (Kate) Bialecki of Scottsdale, Arizona; mother of his children: Charlotte (Tim) Nolan of Carpentersville, Illinois; one great nephew Trevor Just and one aunt Agnes, as well as numerous cousins.

Bob was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Haven and one daughter Elizabeth Ann in infancy.

Private family services and interment will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Chicago.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Bob's memory to The Alzheimer's Association or to Joliet Area Community Hospice.
