Born January 10, 1961 in Chicago, Robert Gene was a son of Antonio Ledesma and Patricia (Totosz) Ledesma. He was raised and educated in Chicago, and on June 12, 1988, he married Terese Marie Urasky and together they made their home and raised their family in Chicago until they moved to Coal City in 2006.
Bob began his career with General Electric in Chicago as a Parts Manager for 13 years before he gained employment with the City of Chicago as a Garbage Disposal Driver for 17 years.
