ROBERT EDWARD McCAULEY "BOB"

Age 55 of Goose Lake, passed away Tuesday February 28, 2006 at his home.

Born May 09, 1950 in Joliet, Bob was a son of the late James Edward and Harriet Frances (Liske) McCauley. He was raised and educated in Channahon and graduated with the Minooka High School Class of 1968. Bob was a veteran of the US Army, having served in Germany during the Vietnam Era. On June 09, 1972, Bob married Bobbie Fannin in St. Jude Catholic Church in Joliet. Bob worked as a carpenter for the Carpenters Union, Local 916 for 34 years, having retired in June 2005. Bob raced Mini-Stock in Joliet and was a fan of his son Greg's motocross racing. He was a member the Morris Moose, the NRA and ISRA. Bob enjoyed fishing, camping and target shooting, but most of all spending time with his family and dogs.

Survivors include his loving wife and best friend of 33 years: Bobbi; one brother Brian James McCauley (Becky) of Channahon; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law: Lloyd and Eleanor Fannin of Cable, Wisconsin; Sister-in-law Vickie Mooney of Luck, Wisconsin and four nieces and one nephew: Katie A. (Jason) Albritton of Normal, Kristyn (fiancAC. a�" Scott Decourcey) McCauley of Plainfield, Jacob Bell of Hayward, Wisconsin and Jessica and Jackie Pfister of Montana. One great nephew James Dean Albritton and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, as well as his special companion Lucky Dog.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, son Gregory in 1990, one sister-in-law Nancy K. McCauley in 1984 and one nephew Joshua Bell in 2000.

Visitation and video tribute will be held Thursday, March 02, 2006 between the hours of 4:00PM and 8:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (1 Block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Funeral services will follow on Friday March 3rd at 10:00AM in Assumption Catholic Church in Coal City, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Rev. Mike Pennock officiating.

Burial will full military honors being conducted by the Morris Color Guard will be in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Jim McCauley, Jason Albritton, Scott Decourcey, Marvin Fannin, Jim Bushma and Will Sidenstick.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Bob's memory to: Angel of Hope, Inc., NFP, c/o Holsinger and Associates, 101 W. Illinois Avenue Suite 1, Morris, Illinois 60450.

Funeral services and arrangements are under the direction of Reeves Funeral Homes, Ltd. in Coal City.
