Robert Peltier

ROBERT LOUIS PELTIER

Age 78 of Goose Lake, passed away Thursday July 28, 2005.

Born February 01, 1927 in Oak Park, Robert was a son of the late Francis and Ida Peltier. He was raised and educated in Chicago and was a veteran of WWII, having served in the US Army. Bob was employed by Harrington and King in Chicago for 47 years until his retirement. Bob enjoyed woodworking, painting, country dancing and square dancing.

Survivors include his wife Jan; five children: Georgia (Phil) Leach of Key West, FL, Catalina (Jim) Johnson of Hanover Park, IL, Michael (Isabelle) Peltier of Lake-in-the-Hills, IL, Maripat (Jim) Baber of Barrington, IL and Robert Peltier, Jr. of Des Plaines, IL. (12) Grandchildren; (4) Great Grandchildren and one sister Helen Peltier of Morris, as well as many friends, including special friends: Juan and Noma Fehr and Dorothy Kmieciak.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, one son Peter and one brother William.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held Sunday July 31, 2005 between the hours of 2:00 and 7:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home in Coal City. A private family interment with full military honors will follow in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood on Monday September 12, 2005 at 11:30AM.
