Age 88 of Morris, Illinois died Saturday, June 18, 2022 at his home.

Born December 5, 1933 in Harvey, Illinois Ronald Dale was a son of Viator and Yvonne (Chantome) Kyrouac. He was raised in Harvey and graduated from Thornton High School. Ron then served honorably in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955. He gained employment with Commonwealth Edison and worked for them for 40 years, retiring in 1992 as a Nuclear Quality Program Supervisor.

Ron was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Morris and the Morris American Legion Post 294. He was a regular with the Romeo Breakfast Group and an active participant of the Classic Thunderbird Club, rarely missing a Morris Cruise Night in his Red 1955 Ford Thunderbird.

Whether it was N Gauge model train sets and oil paintings, or off-roading and rock hunting, Ron was a man of many talents and interests. He was an avid fisherman and never missed his annual fishing trip to Lake of the Woods Canada for 50 years. Ron's greatest passion was family, always setting a great example and source of wisdom to his children and grandchildren. He loved traveling with his wife across country and overseas, constantly searching for that next great adventure.
