ROSE M. CAIRNS

Age 92 of Montello, Wisconsin and formerly of Wilmington, passed away Monday May 01, 2006 in Montello, Wisconsin

Born June 16, 1913 in Standard, Illinois, Rose was a daughter of the late John and Nellie (Donna) Cairns.

Rose was employed as head bookkeeper with Rayburn Trucking Company, Inc. for many years and retired from the US Government in Rock Island, Illinois.

Survivors include four loving nephews and one niece: Lyn (Krista) Rayburn of Montello, Wisconsin, Jack (Sue) Rayburn of Crystal Lake, Illinois, Russell Gilmour and John (Terrie) Cairns both of Wilmington and Sandra (Donald) Farr of Orion, Illinois. (14) Great Nieces and Nephews and numerous Great-Great Nieces and Nephews.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents; one brother and sister-in-law John and Ruth Cairns and three sisters and brothers-in-law: Isabel and Ralph Rayburn, Jean and Russ Gilmour and Lucille and Casey Golden.

Visitation will be held on Friday May 05, 2006 from 9:00AM until 10:45AM at Reeves Funeral Home, 219 North Joliet Street (two blocks North of Illinois Route 53 / Baltimore Street) in Wilmington. Funeral services will then follow at 11:00AM in St. Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Rev. Steve Bondi and Deacon Donald Dyer officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Wilmington and a funeral luncheon will immediately follow in St. Rose School Hall.

Preferred memorial may be made as gifts in Rose's memory to Kuzma Care Cottage, 635 S. Main St., Wilmington, IL 60481.

Funeral services and arrangements are under the direction of Reeves Funeral Home in Wilmington.
