Age 69 of Godley passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020, at Morris Hospital.

Born September 22, 1950 in Chicago, Rose Lee was a daughter of Leonard and Geraldine (nee Paweski) Bednarz. She was raised and educated in Chicago and attended Chicago schools. Rose was an avid animal lover, especially of cats. She enjoyed dancing to oldies and Motown music.

Survivors include her life partner, James Panfil of Godley, one daughter, Denise Gerloski of Chicago, seven grandchildren: James (Alyssa) Hicks of Coal City, Nicole (Nordy) Kedjouti of Valparaiso, Indiana, Cody (Jessica) Hicks of Coal City, Robert (Crystal) Gagnon of Coal City, Heather Gerloski of Carol Stream, Thomas Gerloski of Winfield, and Dakota Gagnon of Braidwood; twelve great grandchildren: Adam, Ayden, and Amelia Hicks, Dominick and Vincent Kedjouti, Cole, Lillyan, and Jackson Hicks, Jeremy, Alex, and Archer Gagnon, and Avery Becker; two brothers and four sisters: Jeffrey, Angela, Antoinette, Donald, Tammy, and Regina; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Dawn Gagnon, and one brother, Bruce.

Private services will be held and cremation rites will be accorded.
