Age 79 of San Antonio, Texas and formerly of Dwight and Wilmington, Illinois, passed away Saturday morning, April 24, 2021.

Born March 11, 1942 in Dwight, Illinois, Sandra Lolita was a daughter of George and Freida (McKune) Luckey. She was raised in Dwight by her uncle and aunt, Everett and Luella Stacy, and graduated from Dwight Township High School with the Class of 1960. Sandra resided in Wilmington, Illinois before moving back to Dwight and lastly relocating to San Antonio in July of 2006.

She was a former member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Dwight and currently belonged to King of Kings Lutheran Church in San Antonio. She worked as a nurses aide, and held employment over the years with Dwight Correctional Center, as well as the William Fox Developmental Center in Dwight. Sandra loved to paint, draw and do wood carving. She also enjoyed playing card games with friends and listening to music, especially that of Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman. Sandra held the rank of a purple belt in karate and also was a belly dancer for a period of time.

Survivors include four children: Phillip (Veronica) Bacigalupo of San Antonio, Texas, Teresa Bacigalupo of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, Jeffrey (Landy) Bacigalupo of San Antonio, and Wayne Bacigalupo (fiance' Dana Mullen) of Channahon, Illinois; grandchildren: Phillip Bacigalupo of Phenix City, Alabama, Luke Bacigalupo, Leo Bacigalupo and Gina Bacigalupo, all of San Antonio and Isabella Bacigalupo and Camryn Mullen of Channahon, Illinois; four great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, and her former spouse, and the father of her children, Joseph Bacigalupo of Wilmington, Illinois.

The family will receive friends for a visitation at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of funeral service 2:00 p.m.

Those wishing to participate in the services virtually are welcome to join the live stream on Friday, beginning at 2:00 p.m. A link for the event will be available on Sandra's memorial page.

Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, WIlmington.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Sandra’s memory to a Parkinson's Disease Research Foundation of the donor's choosing.
