Age 36 of Morris, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, June 9, 2021 in Joliet, Illinois.

Born October 11, 1984 in Blue Island, Illinois. Sarah was an outgoing individual who made friends easily. She had a passion for music and enjoyed making people laugh. Sarah will be remembered for her mischievous nature and always living life to the fullest.

Survivors include her mother, Deanna Ashby of Morris, IL; son, Kalen Collins of Gary, IN; one sister, Rebecca (Phillip) Taylor of Venice, FL; nephew and niece, Christian Taylor (also Sarah's biological son), Savannah Taylor; aunts: Joann Ashby and Brenda (Robert) Surinak; cousins: Darcie (Chad) Horner, Stacy (Ryan) Koerner, Jillian Surinak, Bradley Surinak, Lindsay (Shane) Fowler; second cousins: Brooklyn and Paige Fowler, and Maven Koerner;.

Sarah was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Wayne and Laverne Ashby.

Per Sarah's wishes cremation rites were accorded and a memorial service will be held at Reeves Funeral Home 408 East Washington Street in Morris on Monday June 14, 2021 beginning at 7:30 P.M.  Pastor Brad Shumaker will officiate.
