Sheila M. Neill

Age 62 of Morris, passed away Wednesday December 18, 2019 at Morris Hospital.

Born November 02, 1957 in Morris, Illinois, Sheila Maude was a daughter of Oscar and Viola Bernice (Rose) Larson. She was raised and educated in Morris, and was employed with Morris Lincoln Nursing Home before gaining employment with Marta’s Cabaret and later Rockwell Inn Restaurant.

Sheila was devoted to her family, enjoyed traveling, and will be most remembered for her time spent with those she loved.

Survivors include four children: Marie (Ronald “Jeff”) Sjostrom of Gardner, Richard Jr. (Roberta) Neill of Marseilles, Barbara Neill of Gardner and Lucy Neill of Streator; nine grandchildren: Allen Platt, Dakota “Cody” Sjostrom, Richie Neill III, Austin Neill, Donivin Quick, Briel Quick, Kirra Quick, Raelyn Quick and Bristol Sjostrom, and one sister Linda Larson of Morris.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Paul Lampman Jr. and her grandmother, Phyllis Lucille Rose.

The family will receive friends for a visitation at Reeves Funeral Home, 408 East Washington Street (one block east of Illinois Route 47) in Morris on Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service 12:00 p.m. Pastor John Carr from Families of Faith Ministries will officiate.

Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Morris, where Sheila will be laid to rest with her parents. Pallbearers will be: Richard Neill Jr., Richie Neill III, Allen Platt, Cody Sjostrom, Austin Neill and Ronald “Jeff” Sjostrom.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Sheila’s memory to her family for their distribution.
