Tammie Louise Johnson

Age 55 of Diamond, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at Morris Hospital.

Born June 9, 1968 in Gibson City, IL, Tammie is a daughter of Diana Lynn Wilson. She grew up in Gardner.  On June 30, 1999, Tammie united in marriage with Kevin Johnson in Kankakee, Illinois. They lived in Morris before making a home in Diamond.  A graduate of DeVry Institute with a Bachelor's degree in web design, Tammie was a creative soul. Her hobbies included crafting jewelry, diamond painting and making candles.  She loved web design, was a Lego masterbuilder and had a deep passion for genealogy. Tammie was also known for her love of animals.

Tammie is survived by her mother; brothers Joe (Laura) Dolan of Washington, IL, Casey (Stephanie) Dolan of Dwight, IL; sisters Lacie Dolan of Winchester, TN and Robin (John) Charron of Valparaiso, Indiana; brother and sister-in-laws: Scott Johnson of Santa Clara, CA, Pam Heinzel of Strongsville, OH, Laurel (Herb) Alexander of Shorewood, IL, Jeff (Tracey) Johnson of Woburn, MA; several nieces, grand-nieces, cousins; special friends Karla Wilky, Emily Wilky, Kelly Wilky, and Della Hudson.

Tammie was preceded in death by her grandparents; father-in-law Howard Johnson; mother-in-law Nancy Johnson and special friend Rhonda Lutz.

A private family memorial visitation to celebrate Tammie's life will be held on January 2, 2024, from 5-7 P.M. at Reeves Funeral Home in Coal City, IL. Cremation rites have been accorded, and burial will be scheduled at a later date.
