Theresa Osburn

THERESA M. OSBURN (nee Phelan)

Age 41 of Wilmington, passed away Saturday July 02, 2005 while on vacation in Grand Island, NE, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born February 21 1964 in Joliet, Theresa is a daughter of William and Georgia (Phillips) Phelan of Wilmington and was a graduate of Wilmington High School and Eastern Illinois University. She was employed a manager at First American Bank in Bourbonnais. Theresa was dedicated to her family and her job.

Survivors include her loving husband Merle and children Carly and Ryan. Her parents Bill and Georgia Phelan; one sister Colleen (Todd) Benjamin; maternal Grandmother Helen Phillips; paternal grandmother Mary Phelan; mother-in-law Betty Elizabeth Osburn and (7) brothers and sisters-in-law: Nial (Barbara) Osburn, Ken (Nancy) Osburn, Jonnie Beth (Jim) Kwasneske, Pam (Mike) Williams, Patricia (Walter) Bennett and Melissa (Ken) Bushue, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Theresa was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandfathers.

Visitation will be held Wednesday July 06, 2005 from 2-8PM and Thursday July 7th from 8:30AM until 9:15AM at Reeves Funeral Home in Wilmington. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10AM in St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Wilton Center. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Wilmington.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Theresa's name to a charity of the donor's choice.
