Age 32 of Morris, passed away suddenly Wednesday August 23, 2006 at Morris Hospital.

Born May 18, 1974 in Joliet, Tom is a son of Patricia McCarthy-Hanna of Morris and Frank (Chris) Hanna of Joliet. Tom was raised and educated in Joliet and was employed by Mike Beshoar Tree Service of Morris for the past 12 years. He was a member of the Morris Moose Lodge and the American Pool Association (APA). In his free time, Tom enjoyed shooting pool.

Survivors include his parents, fiancAC. Faith Jaeger of Morris, three children: Tyler, Cassandra and Zachary; two sisters: Sandra K. (David) Bonner of Mississippi and Rachael Hanna of Joliet and four aunts and uncles: David C. (Frankie) Hanna of Alabama, Vontiece (Grady) Hutchens of Tennessee, Paula (Michael) Beshoar of Morris and William (Sharon) McCarthy of Elwood, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Tom was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Virginia and Edward McCarthy, paternal grandparents Thomas C. and Margaret Hanna, one aunt Sally Dykes, one uncle John Vickery, Sr. and one cousin Michael G. Beshoar.

Visitation will be held Friday August 25, 2006 between the hours of 4:00PM and 8:00PM and Saturday August 26th from 11:30AM to 12:30PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Funeral services will follow Saturday at 1:00PM in Assumption Catholic Church in Coal City, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Rev. Mike Pennock officiating.

Burial will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery in Minooka, and pallbearers will be: Michael Oliphant, Chris Oliphant, John Vickery, Dean Suominen, Bill Coriell and Vince Beshoar.
