Age 58 of Coal City, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday evening, April 27, 2015.

Born March 25, 1957 in Morris, Timmie was a son of the late Kenneth E. and Anna Rose (Gumbs) Carpenter. He was raised and educated in Coal City and worked as a laborer with the Laborer's Local 75. Timmie was an active member of the Coal City Area Club, where he served as past president and was currently on the board. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping, and will be remembered for his baking. Timmie cherished time with his grandchildren; family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Kathleen (Kasher-Onsen); step-son Jason Onsen; grandchildren: Helen, Carson and Meghan, along with their mother Carrie; his sister Carol Brainard; brothers: Bill (Lou Ann) Carpenter, Kenny (Marcia) Carpenter and John (Madeline) Carpenter; brothers and sisters-in-law: Terri (Thomas) Convery, Jim Kasher, Dan (Maria) Kasher and Thom Kasher; nieces and nephews: Chris and Josh Brainard, Rose (Jake) Agamy, Jack and Nate Carpenter, Shanta (Curt) Adams, Savannah Carpenter (fiancé - Chris Kernc), Martha Stewart, Caitlin and Alisa Convery, James and Alex Kasher and Danny, Marisa and Ryan Kasher; great nieces and nephews: Blayne, Makenna, Peyton and Nick; his hunting buddy Jaxon, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Timmie was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; several aunts, uncles and cousins, his mother-in-law Kathryn Kasher, and one nephew Justin Kasher.

A private family visitation was held and cremation rites were accorded, per Timmie's wishes. A celebration life is being planned for a later date, and a complete obituary with details will follow as information becomes available.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Timmie's memory to his family for distribution to charities of their choosing.
