Timothy Rodeghero

Timothy Christopher Rodeghero of Morris passed away peacefully on February 21st, 2024 surrounded by his loving family at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Born April 25th, 1959 and raised in Kankakee, IL, he relocated to Morris after graduating high school. He was the adored son of the late George Rodeghero and Betty Lou Rodeghero. On March 1st, 1980, he exchanged vows with his beloved Paula in Morris.

Timothy's professional journey started as an electrician with the IBEW following his high school graduation. Later, he transitioned to become a small business owner alongside his father, specializing in selling and servicing landscape supplies and equipment for over 25 years. After dedicating years to his career, Timothy retired, enjoying eight years of well-deserved leisure while finding solace in his faith as a member of the Immaculate Conception Church.

Timothy's joys were simple yet profound. He found immense pleasure in bird watching, grilling out, and passionately followed Chicago sports (except for the Cubs). He cherished his Saturday evenings watching Svengoolie at 7pm religiously. He had a fondness for Nascar and took pride in cruising around in his beloved white Dodge Charger, affectionately named "Knuckles."

Family was paramount to Timothy. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Paula Rodeghero. He leaves behind a legacy through his four children: Joseph Rodeghero, Anthony (Jenni) Rodeghero, Sarah Lynn (Jeff) Weisman, and George (Kirsten) Rodeghero. His heart swelled with pride for his eight grandchildren: Aiden, Hunter, Braelyn, Tanner, Elena, Evan, Nora, and Dylan. Timothy is also survived by his brother, Steven Rodeghero, and stepbrother, Dan Sperry. His brothers-in-law, George Knott (Scott Gulledge) and Terry (Lynn) Knott, were also dear to him.

Timothy was preceded in death by his father, mother, and uncle Joseph Rodeghero.

In honoring Timothy's wishes, his family has chosen to hold a small private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, they kindly request donations be made to the Bird Conservation Network, reflecting Timothy's passion for bird watching and love of the outdoors.

Timothy Christopher Rodeghero will forever be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, gentle spirit, and ability to find happiness in life's simplest moments. "Everyday is Saturday." May he rest in eternal peace.

Funeral services and arrangements have been made under the direction and care of Reeves & Baskerville Funeral Homes and Crematory in Morris (815) 942-2500.
