Virginia Suriano

Age 96 of Morris, Illinois, formerly of Chicago, Illinois and Palos Hills, Illinois, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021 at her home.

Born November 30, 1924 in Chicago, Virginia was a daughter of Marco and Giovanna (Caruso) Randazzo. She was raised and educated in Chicago, and married Joseph F. Suriano on October 19, 1946.

Survivors include two daughters: Joanne Suriano of Morris and Diane Winslow of Minooka; numerous nieces and nephews, and her fur babies: Rocco, Francesca, Ciara, Mia, and Cooper.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Michael Suriano, one stepson, Sammy Suriano, and three brothers and two sisters: Mike, Carl, Joseph, Angeline, and Mary.

Per Virginia’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.

Funeral services will be at Immaculate Conception Church, 516 East Jackson Street, in Morris on Saturday, September 4, 2021, beginning at 11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend Jason Stone. Entombment will be private at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Hillside.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made as gifts in Virginia’s memory to Lightways Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, Illinois 60431.
