VIRIDIANA LOPEZ "VIDI"

Age 10 of Morris, passed away suddenly Tuesday February 14, 2006 at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born August 22, 1995 in Watsonville, California, Vidi is a daughter of Israel and Lidia (Zavala) Lopez. Vidi was a 4th Grade student at White Oak Elementary School in Morris, where she was known as a very welcoming student always willing to help others. Vidi was involved with the Morris Area Youth Chorale and was a member of the World Drumming Group at the Creative Arts Center in Morris. She loved to sing, dance and dress up like a princess.

Survivors include her parents Israel and Lidia Lopez; two brothers: Eduardo and Israel, Jr.; maternal grandparents Jose and Carolina Zavala and paternal grandparents Jose Maria and Ofelia Lopez, both of Michaocan, Mexico; maternal great grandmother Socorro Arevalo and paternal great grandparents Gabriel and Genoveva Lopez, as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Vidi was preceded in death by her maternal great grandparents: Simon Lopez, Maria Lopez and Jose Zavala and paternal great grandparents: Domitila Diaz and Febronio Diaz.

Visitation and video tribute will be held on Sunday February 19, 2006 between the hours of 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 516 East Jackson Street in Morris. Funeral Services will follow on Monday February 20th with a Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 10:00AM in the church. Rev. Richard Smith, Rev. Luis Gutierrez and Rev. Robert Hoffenkamp will officiate and burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Morris.

Pallbearers will be: Leonardo Lopez, Favian Lopez, Salvador Zavala, Gilverto Lopez, Narciso Zavala and Mauricio Acevedo.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Vidi's memory to the Viridiana Lopez Fund a�" c/o Morris Community Credit Union, 220 East High Street, Morris, Illinois 60450.

Funeral services and arrangements are under the direction of Reeves Funeral Homes, Ltd. in Morris.
