"Bud"

Age 71 and formerly of Channahon, passed away Monday June 19, 2006 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home in Joliet.

Born in Freeman, WI, Bud was a son of the late Wilbert H., Sr. and Lois Cleft Barker.

Bud served in the US Air Force and worked as a mechanic at Orland Bowl for 19 years. He great enjoyed bowling, golfing and his grandchildren.

Survivors include: One son Andrew (Laurie) of Channahon; two daughters: Melissa Pederson and Melinda Barker, both of WI; (9) Grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Madison, Lee Michael, Stephen, Nyssia, Nicole, Ashton, Myrissa and Lea. One great grandson Austin and numerous friends, including the residents and staff at Sunny Hill.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents; one sister Sylvia and one brother Roland.

Visitation will be held on Sunday June 25, 2006 between the hours of 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 219 North Joliet Street (two blocks North of Illinois Route 53 / Baltimore Street) in Wilmington.

Interment with full military honors will follow on Monday at 10:00AM in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood and Pastor Justin Laib will officiate.

Funeral Services and arrangements are under the direction of Reeves Funeral Home in Wilmington.
