William Frey

WILLIAM FREY

Age 82 of Mesa, Arizona and formerly Morris, passed away Monday evening April 03, 2006 at Evergreen Valley Health Care Center in Mesa.

Born March 12, 1924 in Morris, William was a son of the late Alfred Frey and Laura (Kniepkamp) Conklin.

William was raised and educated in Morris and attended Morris High School and Iowa Wesleyan College. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and was stationed in Pensacola, Florida in the 1940's.

Survivors include his sister Shirley Hack; two sons: Todd Frey and Shawn Frey; three nephews: Larry (Susan) Tarman, Robert (Gail) Tarman and William (Tina) Tarman and two nieces: Laura (Tony) Esparza and Linda (Michael) Bober.

William was preceded in death by his parents: one sister Margie Frey, one brother Donald Frey and his step-mother Pat Harrington.

Visitation will be held on Thursday April 06, 2006 from 1:00PM until 1:45PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 408 East Washington Street (one block East of Illinois Route 47) in Morris. Funeral services will follow at 2:00PM in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Morris, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Rev. Richard Smith officiating.

Burial with full military honors will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Morris.

Funeral services and arrangements are under the direction of Reeves Funeral Homes, Ltd. in Morris.
